Dr Ray or others regarding flawed Updates

When I am in repair console I am confused about what I am
to type after C:\WINNT>cd I've seen two suggestions
%WINNT%\$UnInstallKB835732$\spunst
and
\$NTUninstallKB835732$|spuninst
both of which didn't work. Thanks for any help.

I was lucky to be able to boot up my machine in Safe mode
and I removed the KB835732 with Add/Remove Programs.

However, I checked my drive, I think you should use

cd $NtUninstallKB835732$\spuninst
while you are in C:\WINNT (assuming you've installed your
windows under C:\WINNT)
