ok, here's a good one. apparently, my friends son changed the dpi scale on
their computer. they are using windows xp home and it has the
"fischer-price playstation" interface. the instructional pages are very tiny
and navigatable though unreadable. how do i get a readable screen back?
thanks lol

Hi,

Right click on the Desktop and select Properties - Settings Tab and adjust the Screen
Resolution. Less would be larger.

if i could read the screen i could do that.

Try in Safe Mode. To start the computer in Safe Mode, repeatedly tap the
F8 key as the computer is starting up. This will get you to the right
menu. Use the arrow keys to navigate and the Enter key to choose Safe
Mode.

Then just move the slider on the screen resolution all the way to the
left, Apply and OK out. You can adjust the resolution to where you want
it afterwards.

what i need is some whose interface is the same as mine. that would
be when one r clicks desktop, selects properties they then get a box with
two rows of tabs not one. the goal is to get to the box to change
the dpi settings. remember i can't read sheeeeeeeet. thanks markie

tried that, both a glass and ms maginifier all i get is boxes. looks
like tv through a magnifying glass

i couldn't read anything so i couldn't navigate. but i did find the
templates needed and all is well again. i thank you all for your
efforts.... markie
