DPI and Icon Size Changes

I reset the DPI and Icon settings to larger sizes. WHen I
log in sometimes, the small sizes appear again.
Similarly, although I set IE text size to larger, it
reverts to smaller. Is there any way to make these
changes permanent? Thank you for your advice.

Set your preferences then run this edit:

Save Settings on Exit (Line 54)

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.
