Good morning Freddie :)
Some ppl make great lil or big progs for the creativity....they are driven
to.....it's their fix, like freeware is ours.

Software begets more software and so it continues, it's a good thing, each
program is a stab at a better product or one MSoft didn't think about fixing
in one of their progs.

Lots of freeware I have and use are add-ons to Explorer,etc.etc. that MS
just didn't take the time to do, by paws-ably putting in a couple more lines
of programming.

This is more interesting:

The Great Software List is an advocate of great software and ignores mediocre software. It is composed of high quality programs that share most or all of the following features:

(1) Ease of use with a well-designed user interface;
(2) A generous array of keyboard shortcuts (preferably customizable);
(3) High degree of customizability where applicable; and
(4) Affordability.

Several freeware programs are praised.
