when i try to download information of a web site, i get a blank page
with a square at the top of the left hand side, with a red X.
this problem occured when i downloaded a catalogue & was asked this.

Adobe Reader

Would you like to enable this feature so you can view PDF documents in
Netscape or Internet Explorer, i answered Yes.

This is my problem now, Please Advise

Make sure you're using a current copy of Adobe Reader or an alternative.
Make sure you're waiting long enough for the file to open.

Personally, I prefer foxit reader - an adobe substitute. And I prefer to
download PDF files (right click on PDF link and select Save Target As).
Then open them separate from the browser. Even with broadband, I think this
method gives faster and more reliable results.
