quick question, when I go to some html pages , the pages load and play
automatically, such as sound, how do you save these so that if you want to
hear the song or video you don't have to reload the page

thanks for the reply, the problem is that it doesn't record the audio or
video locally, IE still loads it, here is a link that I was trying to save
C:\Documents and Settings\chan\My Documents\Frank Sinatra Parody You Are
Either With Frank Or You Are With The Terrorists!.mht

While veiwing that page, go to file/save as. that will save the whole

Depending on the instance, there may be a file which is stored in the TIF's;
specifically in the sub folders of Content.IE5. To see if this is the case,
you'd be best off emptying the cache first by the approved methods. Then
access the page, and have it load and do its thing. Then do a search within
the sub folders of Content.IE5 and see if the item you want is present. If
so, **Copy** the file and save it. DO NOT CUT IT from the folder.

Some files will be from protected servers, and you may not be able to
actually save it, as it will only be a "get-file", and not the actual file
itself. There is No way that I know of to circumvent such an instance, if
that be the case. There are ways around other "get-files" when they are not
"protected", but that is a different story. You'd have to access the
"file">save it> rename it to .txt> read the URL> Paste the URL in the
address bar> and download and save it in the actual format.
Videos, will probably be Shockwave/Flash or something else. I am not sure if
you can save those, but I could be wrong. If they are Mpg's, Avi's or
whatever, they will be found just as the previous ones I mentioned. Highly
unlikely that they actually would use those however.
