Downloading

I accidently turned off the box that asks me if I want to download a program
or save it. Now I can't find where I fix that at. How do I make it stop
automatically downloading programs? Please help.

See if this will help:

Go to Windows Explorer (Not IE) Tools>Folder Options>File Types.
Scroll down to the file type in question and select it.
Click Edit (or Advanced, depending on your Windows version).
Check the box for "Confirm open after download".

It does it no matter what I try to download.
