Downloading

Whenever I try to download anything, im not able to, all
that happens is my window changes to a search page for a
website called fastwebsearch.com
It would appear to have infected my system but NAV shows
no virus present on my pc. I have looked in regedit and
sometimes this site appears, sometimes not, but at the
moment i cant download anything, music, pictures because
all that happens is this poxy window comes up!!
Any ideas anyone....help!!!
 
Check out lavasoftusa.com for AdAware it is a spyware
scanner, you also may want to google.com and look for an
answer i know a bunch of new trojans are hijacking IE and
cause problems like this to arise
 
Thanks for that, but the problem is when i go to
download, so i went to the adaware site to download the
program and guess what!! Yep, the only thing that happens
is this bloody window opens up!
