I used to download programs off the internet to be saved
to a certain folder. There was a block that appeared
asking me where to send the download. In that block was
an option to not get the block each time. I checked it
and now want to uncheck it. How do I do that? Thank you.

In Windows Explorer, click the TOOLS menu|FOLDER OPTIONS|FILE TYPES tab and
scroll to the entry that handles the type of file that you are attempting to
download.

Select that entry and click ADVANCED.

Check the "confirm after download" box.

I'm using XP home edition. I found the tools menu but no
FOLDER OPTIONS or FILE TYPES.

Control Panel > Folder Options > File Types tab.
