When I try to download the service pack from windows update, it says
the maximum size will be 30mb, mine says it's 60mb, yet I've got every
other update that windows update says I need.
Also, if I get disconnected whilst the update is downloading, when I
reconnect and click retry to resume the download, it goes back to the
very beginning and starts downloaing from 60m, instead of carrying on
from where it left off.
Any ideas?
Or has the service pack ever been available on a magazine coverdisc in
the UK or anything?
Thanks.

It goes back to the beginning because it's streaming and it's not saved
locally. It seems that you have dial-up, so you should call MS to have it
sent to you on CD (I don't have the link off-hand, but search the MS UK site
and you'll find it). Downloading the full version (134MB) will take nearly
eight hours, so that's definitely not an option if your ISP has a 2-hour cut
off.

Hi Wayne

You can order SP1 on CD from here:
