When creating links to Word Document files, is there anything I can do so
that the file can only be downloaded, and not opened in the browser window?
Thanks, JW

You can put them in a zip file.

You can put a note telling users to right click on the link and choose Save
As. Otherwise the only thing you can do is put it in a ZIP file.

No. That's client side. You could suggest users right-click and download
with text next to the link.

Zip them up or rename them, or use a doctype that won't matter if they do
that (PDF).
