Hi.

I tried to get onto the Sysinternals (Winternals) web site tonight, but
the thing won't work.

Anyone know another (safe) source for downloading the programs?

Thanks.

It is still there.
The web pages take forever but the archives download fast.

After waiting for about 5 minutes the site license eventually comes up and
says :
Unless otherwise specified, the Services are for your personal and
non-commercial use. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display,
perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from,
transfer, or sell any information, software, products or services obtained
from the Services.

WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, COPYING OR REPRODUCTION OF THE SOFTWARE TO
ANY OTHER SERVER OR LOCATION FOR FURTHER REPRODUCTION OR REDISTRIBUTION IS
EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED, UNLESS SUCH REPRODUCTION OR REDISTRIBUTION IS
EXPRESSLY PERMITTED BY THE LICENSE AGREEMENT ACCOMPANYING SUCH SOFTWARE.

So..no making it into an archive and posting a torrent.

Hello,

I'm able to download there at the moment, but it's slow. Maybe
everybody wants his "last freeware version" and they want it NOW?

Regards,
Thorsten

What do you want to bet that because of this microsft sh*t
your gonna see these apps in every p2p program in thousands of places....?

The website is extremely slow but the programs download fast, is what
they are saying.

So does anybody know the direct download links to (presumably) the last
freeware versions?

Personally I have:
process explorer 10.11
autoruns 8.51
diskview 2.21
diskmon 2.01

Maybe it's time to make a list of last freeware versions of
sysinternals progs.
I have updated fairly often, so my versions may be close to the last
version numbers.

Somebody may know of later versions, other programs, direct download
links?
Please add to and update the list.

The GRC server has a single master ZIP of all utilities pulled
from SysInternals earlier this morning. Anyone wishing to grab
a single *large* (21,713,059 byte) zip file containing the
entire contents of the SysInternals "files" directory may do so
here:

http://www.GRC.com/miscfiles/SysInternals_07_18_06.zip

It's a shame SMG didn't zip up the html that went along with the apps.

I wonder how long it's be before MS or Mark askes him to take down the
file.

Downloading now.

They can ask. The only resemblance between Steve and a doormat is the
galaxy they inhabit. He makes Don Quixote look amiable.

FWIIW my virus software detects "Joke-Bluescreen.c" in this download

That's right. Thats's the bluescreen.zip file which can't do any harm
unless you follow the installation instructions.

Yeah, because, like, nobody has ever made something available via
bittorrent that was against the license agreement...
