When I try to download nontrivial files, it downloads a
few KB (different amount every time) and then simply
stops. The dialog box is still there reporting a nonzero
rate (and the animation is still going) just as if the
download was continuing normally, but the amount
downloaded is no longer changing. I eventually just cancel
the download and try again, hoping it makes it to the end
on the next attempt.
I'm using Windows98 and "About Internet Explorer" tells me:
Version: 6.0.2800.1106
Cipher Strength: 128-bit
