I am taking a supervision course at a local community
college & have to put together a presentation.
I could use the computers at the school to do this,
but i would like to download a powerpoint program,
but most downloads request a payment.

Is there an easier alternative, one in which no
payment is requested for downloading. I would rather
be able to put it together on my own computer than to
spend time at the community college on their system.

Look forward to receiving your response,

Stephen Pollard

Looks like you have to go with alternative #1. PowerPoint cannot be downloaded. Has to be purchased, and then installed, along with program activation

You can't download PPT from anywhere. You can download the viewer, but it
doesn't allow you to create presentations, only view them.

If you are looking for a free alternative, check out OpenOffice
(www.openoffice.org). It isn't as fully functional as PowerPoint, but may be
enough to do what you need.
