I have been trying to download a community submitted template. Everytime I do
it says the Office Online Active X Control could not be installed. I have
followed all of the instructions and my internet has enabled the correct
add-on but I still get the same error. Does anyone know what I can do?

Thanks!

Which template specifically are you having problems with? Could you provide a
link to it, please?

Hi TAJ,

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately, it is still not working (and I even
read the whole page!). Do you have anything else up your sleeve?

Hi Echo,

Here is the link:

http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/TC300012151033.aspx?CategoryID=CT101426481033&av=ZPP000

I have tried other community members templates as well but they don't work.
I tried TAJ's suggestion but still get the same error. I appreciate your
help with this!

Thanks, Heather.

The good news is, I can download this template, so it's not a problem with
the template. The bad news is, I don't know what's causing the problem.
Hm....

Heather;

Which version of PowerPoint do you have on the system your trying to download the template. It will only work if you have 2007.

I have 2003...I thought I read somewhere that I could download '07 to '03. I
guess I will just have to get my work to upgrade my version. Thanks!

You can download the compatibility pack, when installed you will be able open, edit, and save files using the file formats new to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007. The Compatibility Pack can also be used in conjunction with the Word Viewer 2003, Excel Viewer 2003, and PowerPoint Viewer 2003 to view files saved in these new formats.
