Downloading patches and demos

Hey,
Does any know what might be causing a problem when I try to download some
game patches and demos. They get about half way then start copying cross to
the desktop as an incomplete file, or finish the download but the exe file
wont run. I get a message saying the file is corrupt or incomplete.
This only happens on some patches and demos. I have a firewall running but
I don't know why some won't work.
Has anyone got any ideas?
Thanks,
Maurice.

It's very possible that your antivirus software is corrupting the packets while
analysing the bits as they download. Try turning off your Antivirus software
during the download process, then turn it on, and scan the file before use.
