downloading music

i know this must sound simple but how do you download
music from the net onto your PC and then burn them onto
discs

Have a look at Slyck's "Guides to Filesharing Methods" here:

to install one which is free of adware and spyware. My personal preference
is to use the binaries newsgroups. Slyck has a section on that topic also.
