downloading music to storyboard

Could anyone let me in on the secret of using existing CD
music on home movie projects? Every time that I try to
import CD music to the storyboard a flag comes up telling
me that the music is copyrighted and cannot be imported
or that moviemaker does not support that kind of file.
I like using the programme but it is frustrating to not
be able to add a musical track.
 
i take it your copying the cd using windows media player
if you are
open windows media player,tools,options,copy music,and uncheck copy propect music.click apply and copy another song from a cd and try importing it to movie maker
