I'm unable to download Microsoft Money data files (*.ofx)
using Internet Explorer. I always have to switch to
Netscape to do this one task. IE thinks it's so cool that
it can link the file directly to Microsoft Money, but I
WANT the file saved on my hard drive like, forever more.
I just discovered I can find the file in my Windows/Temp
folder, but how can I force IE to properly download and
save the Money files all the time?

Mary,
There may be someting different about Money and OFX files, but try this:
Depending on your OS...

From Windows Explorer> View> Folder options> File types
OR Tools> Folder options> File types
OR Ctrl Panel> Folder options then File Types. Select OFX> Advanced.
Put a check by "Confirm open after download."
You should then get the "Open or Save" dialog for each download.

Thank you so very much, that was extremely easy.
