Hey all.

I remember in XP we had a feature to download messages and headers from
newsgroups - not just the headers. I'm not much at home and I'd like to just
download newsgroup messages to my computer, read them, reply to them and
then, when I connect to the Internet - upload messages to the server. But I
can't seem to find it. Or did I just forget how should it be done?

TIA.

Select the parent folder for the newsgroup server in the left pane and this
will display all of the groups you are subscribed to in the right pane.
Select all of the groups and then right click. Select Synchronization
Settings/All Messages from the context menu.

Well, as far as I understand, wouldn't it download the entire newsgroup? In
newsgroups like this, we're talking about thousands of messages. Besides
cluttering the hard drive, it would take a lot of time to download several
newsgroups like this.

There is a newsgroup for Windows mail: microsoft.public.windows.vista.mail
