Downloading Latest build

Hello everyone,

I have the universal MSDN subscription. But I am really confused about which
copy of vista is the latest build. From beta testing VS.NET 2005 last year I
noticed that the CTPs are the latest copy. But it seems that with Vista it
might be different. I looked at the date of the latest CTP and it was Feb
2006 while the latest Beta 2 is dated May 23, 2006.

So, my question is en_windows_vista_beta2_x86_dvd.iso ISO-9660 DVD Image
dated 2006-05-23 17:34:24 (UTC) the latest build?

Thanks

Yep - 5384.4 is the latest build available externally to Microsoft :o)

The build is what matters, if its 5384, its beta 2 and you should be safe.

The MSDN Windows Vista Release and the Public CPP Beta are both Build
5384.4, just FYI.

P.S. It's Possible that Some Feature's were Removed from the Public Beta,
just FYI.

No Kevin - the MSDN/TechNet build is the exact same one that the public are
getting.
