Downloading Files

Hi, I have IE7, and when I try to download bank transactions, I get a yellow
information bar telling me the download has been blocked and to click for
more info. When I click on it, I can then allow the download, and it
proceeds just fine. Is there any way to avoid the block and subsequent
approval? I have set the bank website as a trusted site. That didn't help.
Thanks.

Hi Don. Thanks. Enabling auto prompting eliminated the block and approval
process.

Hi,
I would leave the Information Bar enabled and would approve the download
each time, but...
This may stop the message for the Trusted Sites Zone.
From Internet Options> Security> Trusted Sites> Custom Level> Automatic
prompting for file downloads> Enable.

yes you can turn off the information bar for dowloads so when you select
dowload it will download. In internet explorer go to tools, internet options,
sucurity settings. Click custom level and then scroll down till you see the
downloads category then select enable under automatic prompting for file
dowloads. This shuts off the information bar. Let me know if this resolves
your issue.
Best regards,
Kaja
