when downloading email outlook says there are 92 messages and starts the downloading process. However no messages appear until about the last 5 to 10 messages. but only the last 5 or 10 messages appear. Where are the other messages? I also always get an error message at the end saying check your account properties. Please help.

It sounds to me like you are leaving mail on the server instead of deleting
it after receiving it.
Depending on the version of Outlook you have try something like this :
- Tools / Accounts /
- then select the email account and click Properties or Change.
- then probably under "Advanced" you should find an option saying something
like "leave a copy of mail on server"
- if this option is checked (ticked) then click it to remove the check.

Next time you run all mail should be deleted after you read it (unless I
have given the wrong cause!)

It is hard to be more exact as, like many people here, you are too shy to
tell us which of the many versions of Outlook and Outlook Express you are
using ;)

What version of Outlook do you have?
