Downloading clipart

I am new to Windows XP and am trying to download clip art from Microsoft gallery (I had no trouble with this with Windows 98). It seems to download OK but then a message comes up saying Windows doesn't recognise the program. Has this happened to anyone else and how do you solve it please. I use clip art a lot so this is a real problem for me.

I don't know what procedures your are following to get the clipart down to
your computer but I have found that if you "open" the clipart when you get
the download dialogue box instead of saving it to a location, it works much
better and the clipart is properly installed for you.
