I am using WindowsXP and have a trojan that has taken
residence on the following file
C:\\windows\isrvs\sysupd.dll first of all I am a novice
and don't have a clue if this file is even necessary.
The trojan's name is Downloader.Small.18.T . I have used
my antivirus program, it detects it, cannot heal it, says
that it is deleted, but once the system is rebooted there
it is. I have used Microsoft antispyware beta1 and it
indicates that the file C:\\windows\isrvs\sysupd.dll has
been deleted, but upon reboot there it is. Please help
this is causing me grief because it is causing my
internet explorer to get hung on my homepage of
comcast.net Please respond to the newsgroup or to my
email address (e-mail address removed)
