Downloaded templates

If you download templates from Microsoft's website, they will be opened in
the program. If you want to keep them for repeated use, you should save them
as a template, POTX file, or a theme, THMX file.

I have Microsoft 2007 and never having used anything like this before, I need
to know where the downloaded templates go? How do I get to them to use over
and over? I have Windows Vista Home.

On the Design tab, choose the "more" button (downward-pointing arrow) in the
Themes Gallery to open it all the way. At the bottom of that galler, choose
"browse for themes" and go find the file you downloaded.

If you want the theme to always show in your Themes Gallery, put them in the
appropriate folder as described here:

There are a lot of elegent PowerPoint templates with multifold themes
in http://www.sameshow.com/download/powerpoint-to-flash-ppttemp.html.
I have downloaded some templates and used in my daily work.
