Downloaded program files

I'm using a PC running XP Home SP1. Are downloaded program files safe
to delete thru Internet Explorer's Tools option? I always assumed if the
downloaded program file was needed again, I would be prompted to download
it, or perhaps it would be installed again automatically.

Yes, it is safe to Remove these files. Yes, they will be downloaded
again if needed. The trick is to know what you need so you can keep it.

Windows Update Client Control

Do you want to download this every time you go to Windows Update?
Right click the files and look around to determine what it is.
