Downloaded new security patch for ie6

I run on XPHome. No problems before download. Now when
surfing to internet sites, all the graphics don't appear
on pages....just little boxes with an x in the middle.
Anybody know what I can do to fix this?

I'm having same problem on Windows98 since I installed

I have the same problem since downloading Service pak1

and direct X 9.0b. I had my norton A/V enabled at the
download. I found a fine print notation that one must
disable any Anti-virus program before downloading.
So I downloaded again and wala!! images are back!!
tonite i fire up an the images are gone...back to red X's.
I also have failed to fiure out how this newsgroup replys
work. the 2990++ problems that are posted here are of
little help if the answer threads can not be viewed. Am I
missing something?
