I'm in Win98, using Outlook 6.0.
Today, when I tried to download messages (send/receive), Outlook
crashed in the middle of the download. I thought I saw 12 messages
cueing to come in. I rebooted. When I re-opened Outlook and hit
send/receive, it showed no messages to retrieve-- and, the downloaded
messages are not in my inbox !

How do I retrieve the 12 messages ?

Thanks
Brad

There is no Outlook version 6.0 there is an Outlook Express 6.0.

This is a group to support Outlook from the Office group of programs.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and is a quite different
program, despite its similar name..

You will probably get a faster and more expert answer if you post this to an
Outlook Express news group.

Try posting in one of these newsgroups:
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie5.outlookexpress for OE 5.x
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie55.outlookexpress for OE 5.5x
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress for OE 6.x
microsoft.public.internet.outlookexpress.mac for OE for Macintosh

If those groups aren't carried on the news server that's carrying this group
try using msnews.microsoft.com (MS's public news server that's the source
for all the microsoft.public newsgroups).

A good website for information on OE is:
http://www.tomsterdam.com/

Please answer the question posed. You're right, I accidently said
"version 6.0" which refers to IE Browser. However, I am NOT in OE,
I'm in Outlook, which is part of my Office Premium 2000. Please
answer the questions as posed. I am in Outlook 2000, I am not in
Outlook Express. Thank you.

I do not know of an answer. Have you tried opening your email
using your ISP's web access? If you did not POP them off during
your download they may still be available on the server.
