Downloaded files never appear

Hi, When I download a file anywhere...it says its going. But when it is done
there is nothing. Also when I open a zip file I can't extract. It goes
through the motions but it too is nonexistent at the end.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
Until his web-based browser stops giving him a false message that the post
did not upload to the server. It is a bug in the web-based interface that
some of the folks are using from inside Vista itself. They just can't tell
so they believe the message and try again.
