I have windows ME on the computer, with the basic windows movie maker on it. I was wondering if I could download this one over the basic one, or add it on. Any help would be nice. I would like to take photos and make a cd for my sons 18th birthday.
 
If you mean Movie Maker 2 with effects and transitions, it only runs on
Windows XP... there isn't a version for Windows Me.

But the new version doesn't make discs that play on DVD players... you need
to use other software for that. So you can do the same on your Windows Me
computer, but without the fancier effects and transitions.
