Hi,

I was downloading a file from a website and by mistake I closed the
download window. I re-clicked on the link to download the file and it
started where it stopeed before stopping the download. Where does it
cache the file? and is it true if I log off and relogon again I will
loose the cached part? can someone give me an idea of this process?

Best,
WaJo

It stores them in the cache (Temporary Internet Files) until you close the
original page (I think) or completely close IE (more likely) or until it's
full (highly suspect as it doesn't resume even when there's plenty of space
in there.) Observation suggests that it's when you have completely closed
out IE that it clears that temp file.
