Download zip and exe Not working

Hmmmmm,

I posted a message asking about a specific problem
relating to IE 6.0. Unfortunately, I never received a
reply. As a result, I have chosen to use Netscape as my
default browser. I have also chosen to avoid any Microsoft
products that I can (unfortunately, I am stuck with
Windows XP at the moment).

Can't you use Linux? ...or even the Mac?

Use Linux? I'm a basic computer user, and barely know what
Linux is. I use IE because it [WAS] easy to use. The
browser always easily downloaded files when I clicked the
links ... now it's not working (the paths are valid).

As for using a MAC - I only have a PC.

Any ideas what is wrong?
