Download yahoo messages (Mostly text)

Happy new year to all who celebrate...

Looking for a freeware or low priced downloader to archive an entire group
that goes back 6-7yrs.. Most of the messages are text... with a very small
number of photo's...
Is there anything that will download all the messages and alow off line
reading in a logical manner.

Any help greatley appreciated

The FoxMail eMail client should be able to do that. I would wait a few
days though...5.0 Final is expected any moment.

The only program I've found is yahoo2mbox, found here-
http://www.lpthe.jussieu.fr/~zeitlin/yahoo2mbox.html
You'll need to have Perl installed, and then you'll need to
have a program that can read mbox files.

While I wouldn't mind having a program that could retrieve
Yahoogroup archives for me, this one is more trouble than
it's worth for me to try out.
But if you're trying to download 6-7 years of archives it
may be worth it to you to give it a try.
