Is there a way to get the "download" window to stay up so
you can tell it were to download a .qif file? Currently
you see the "download" window for a split second and then
I can't find where it saved my Quicken file download. Any
ideas? Thanks!!

Are you just opening your downloads or do you click the
save button? If you click save, you can then save in
anywhere you want.

The problem is I do not get the option to "save"
or "open". That window doesn't come up. It is like it
automatically saves the file somewhere without me telling
it where.

Andy,
There might be something different about QIF files, but try this...

You have to set this option for each file type and the route to Folder
options> File types will be slightly different, depending on your OS:

From Windows Explorer> View> Folder options> File types
OR Tools> Folder options> File types
OR Ctrl Panel> Folder options then File Types. Select [file type]> Advanced.
Put a check by "Confirm open after download."
You should then get the "Open or Save" dialog for each download.

Or, can you right-click the link to the QIF file and choose "Save target
as?"
