Double Tap

How do I download a video from youtube to my hard drive.
I use XP Home IE6.

Thanks

Hi Double Tap,

They aren't real video files. They are Flash renditions that are streamed
from the web site. However you will already find that a hard copy has been
downloaded to your hard disk... Open your Temporary Internet Files folder,
while you are viewing a video and look for files of type 'swf' = Shockwave
Flash Object, they will have an address of
http://www.youtube.com/{something}.swf

You can copy them from you temporary internet files folder (right click on
the file) to somewhere else on your hard disk.

However you will be in breach of the terms of use for the site if you do
this
http://www.youtube.com/t/terms

Regards.
