Download the internet, please

Dear sirs,

I am new to internet and require some assistance please. I use microsoft's
browser and need to download the internet for a friend (Claire) who does not
have a connection. She needs to use internet for work purposes.

How is it possible to download the internet, say to floppy or CD? I have a
broad band connection so speed is not an issue.

Dear sir/madam,

I surfed over to the site suggested but it only contains general
information. My friend (Claire) has told me I need instructions for
'Internet Explorer' and emailed me this group. Would it be better for me to
get Claire to speak directly to you?

You can not download the internet. The internet is a huge network of
computers, worldwide, that hold thousands of terabytes of information. You
can download pieces of this information which is found on WebPages.
 
You cannot"download the internet"
You connect to the internet.
To use the internet you have to connect your pc to the cable/phone line/
other with a modem or lan card.
