I want to update a PC that is not on the internet. How can I download the
SP2 for Windows XP, save it to a disk and then update the other PC. So far
it always checks the connected PC (that has SP2 installed). I don't seem to
have the option to save the download. Any thoughts?

Thanks, Richard

Hi,

You can download the Network Installation Package for Windows XP SP2 at the
following Microsoft Web site:
http://go.microsoft.com/?LinkID=806688

Please be aware that this file is about 272MB in size, and may take awhile
to download.
The best way to update the computer is to find a network adapter and to
download it through Windows Update, but if the PC truly can't connect to the
Internet then download this the package available at the above website and
then save it onto a portable hard drive or copy it onto a CD for
installation to the PC.

I think you'd be better off with the free CD:
