when Im downloanding a big file after some minutes My computer said that Im
running out of space in "c" and that I need to erase some files to continue.

My c drive is almos full but my d drive is almost empty

How can I change the setup to download directly to drive D or to an external
hard drive that I have?

Change default Internet Explorer Download Directory

Start | Run | Type: regedit | Click OK
Navigate to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer
Create a new String value, or modify the existing value, called Download
Directory
Value Name: Download Directory
Data Type: REG_SZ
Value Data: Path to the folder

Hope this helps. Let us know.

IE downloads all files to TIF first and then copies them to the final
location, so even if you direct it to download to a place on D: it will go
to C: first unless you have moved TIF to D:
