Download problem

A few days ago, this problem started.

I use Firefox as a browser, normally when I want to download a file, I
click on the hotlink and the download starts.

But now, when I click, a blank page opens.

If I go back to the download page, right click and "save link as", I can
download normally.

Is this a registry key in W2K?

How to fix this?

What happens if you use IE?
Have you tried updating Firefox to the latest version? This doesn't sound
like a Windows issue to me....sounds like something funky in Firefox. If you
are using the latest version, check the plugins you've got & try to
uninstall whatever was most recently installed (e.g., right before this
problem began).

Never use IE

May have to reinstall my version of Firefox. Latest version will not be a
fix for this issue, something corrupted a registry key, so I will
reinstall Fx.
