download problem

Trying to D/L the English 32-bit ISO. The recommended download manager says
the file does not exist, and trying to bypass the manager results in a 10
second download of an empty ISO file.

What gives?

There is red-letter text all over the GetReady pages advising that the
servers are swamped and requesting folks to order the dvd kit.

I just redownloaded today to see if that was still true. It downloaded for
me in 45 minutes no problem. Just keep trying

The downloaded ISO is 1,152 bytes. Not likely to work, 'ey what?

Why should I give $ to M$ for a beta with about a 45 day timebomb?

The beta actually lasts longer than that. It ends offically in June of 2007

It's just for the shipping and handling. That is just an ordinary expense
in my budget, not a big deal. If they want to ship me a couple of dvd's
made at their expense then I'm OK about reimbursing them something.

there is no 45 day timebomb in Beta 2. It expires June of 2007. Thats
basically a year.

Also, If you order the Beta on DVD you will automatically also recieve RC1
when it comes out.
