I was trying to download some software (the latest build of my
firewall/antivirus) and the process started well from the donor web site. I
got to the bit where, in a window, it says "Publisher could not be verified.
Are you sure you want to download this?" ..I clicked "run".
There was a brief re-start of the download then I got "Windows cannot access
the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate
permission to access the item." At the top of the window was the path
...\local settings\temporary Internet Files\Content.1ES\.... And that was it,
I couldn't download the update!
It has happened with another download too (Napster).
My account is "administrator" status and I have succesfully downloaded
software in the past.
Can anyone put me right please?
