download of updates

recently on this computer I believe someone has change
setting's or something to that effect. I am unable to go
past the front page of site's where I must enter an
account or click on my account. I get, web page
unavailable. (2). I cannot download any update's for
window's. I'm not sure of the error message totally but,
one thing that stands out was, make make sure
cryptographic was working on my computer. I'm not totally
sure of the message and that this was in the first or
second path I tried to take to get update's.I would
appreciate any and all help with this (theese) problem's.

Sounds like a dns hijack of some type.

Start by searching your entire hard drive, including all hidden and
system folders, for file "hosts" (leave off the ").

Post your ipconfig here. Start - Run -
"ipconfig /all >c:\ipconfig.txt" - open C:\ipconfig.txt from Notepad,
and copy and paste contents here.
