Another lowlife leech of Usenet news groups !

That would include you too ?

Of course, the 'lowlife leech' comment was meant to mean *another* web
page
forum that sucks posts off usenet/and posts to usenet to make it look more
busy than it actually is, so.....bravo on the creatively clipped out-of-
context post.

Of course. It includes me, ..... and you.

Regarding oneself as perfect and the rest of the world as imperfect is THE
number one scourge of this group, and perhaps of the world at large.

It's why countless threads degenerate into perpetual "I'm right. You're
wrong" exchanges.

It's why revolutions invariably fail; why the ideals that inspired the
downtrodden masses to fight against the morally 'inferior' elites, then
become the victims of the same ideals when they are forcibly imposed upon
them.

If more people were conscious of their own imperfections then the world
would be a better place.

Re creativity, I tend to avoid trite platitudes. I leave those to others.

It's a pity Usenet has been practically destroyed by too much misuse - we
are all used to reading a certain amount of junk, and moderated forums with
logins don't do quite the same job.

In the present case, a discussion of combinations of M$ applications and OS
could possibly be useful. For example, Office 2007 (apparantly 2010 is
similar) seems to follow the horrible eye candy trend of Vista. The menu
items are not in any logical order and you can hardly change anything. You
can load the icons for subscript and superscript (as used in scholl maths),
but you can't put them in a logical place. Try creating then modifying a
table in Word - menu items are scattered all over the place. Word is now
fairly useless even for elementary scientific and technical applications.

Just my opinion, but it would be nice once again to be able to have a good
honest argument on an open forum.

Regards

Like we have to try to get use to Alias polluting the
alt.windows7.general forum with all his Ubuntu bullshit.

The ironic thing is you bring it up more than I do under your different
nyms.

Why, what would it achieve? Opinions differ.
