Does anyone know of such a beast??

I've been using Star downloader, now trying Octopus, and have tried others
over the years, but none appear to do this (or my memory is just so bad I
have no recall of seeing this functionality)

I'm looking to put together a 'text' file of collected download links (from
A.C.F, of course...BP)that I can then import (on another machine) for
download

TIA

I know at least one shareware program with this functionality. Wget / CURL also
do this, but they are operated from a command line.

Actually, the wget GUI called Wackget might do this provided that the inputfile
contains one link per line. If you need HTML-parsing, I think you'll need to use
wget proper.

Stay with Octopus. It is a no frills program and does the job
wonderfully well. In the last 1-1/2 years of use I have notlost a
single file that was resumed many times.

The only drawback is it tries to react to any URI that is put on the
clipboard and is does not have a log. But that is a small problem in
the face of its simplicity and efficiency.

The adware-free version of Octopus is 3.11 - description and DL link in
the PL nominations pages:
