I'm using Outlook 2007 and have only one calendar. This is on my home PC and
does not reside on a server. I made some flight reservations on Delta.com and
chose the option to "Add to Outlook".

When I checked to see if my flight itinerary had been added to my calendar,
it was not there. But now there is a NEW calendar called 'MeetingRequest' and
the itinerary is there. How do I get the itinerary to show up on my original
calendar?

I tried to post the resolution but when I clicked on 'Post' IE7 said the
'webpage was too busy' so I refreshed the page and it appears that my reply
did not post. My apologies if this turns out to be a duplicate post!

Problem solved - I needed to click on 'Save', not 'Open' when I chose 'Add
to Outlook' from the delta website. This time, I saved the .ics file and
imported it into my calendar. Both outbound and return itineraries were added
to my default calendar. I deleted the 'MeetingRequest' folder.

NOTE: I had to manually change the time zones because the .ics file imported
into my calendar with my 'home' time zone, but I am traveling east to west
and back. Because I sync my calendar with my cell phone, the appointment
times on my calendar will get moved when I land in a different time zone.
T-mobile updates my phone to current time zone - can't find a way to prevent
it. I wonder if Delta could put in time zones in the .ics file?
