Download Issues

In the past few days I have downloaded nearly a gig of
zips. The days past with no problems, until yesterday
evening. Around 9:30 I believe I accidentaly hit a check
box on the wrong window, but I don't know which. Now all
downloads happen without a status window and go
immediatly to a system temp folder. Any help to get my
downloads back to regular would be appreciated.

Open Windows Explorer and go to Tools | Folder Options | File Types.
Scroll down to the file type in question and select it.
Click Edit or Advanced, depending on your Windows version.
Check the box for "Confirm open after download".
