How do I download a complete copy of IE6, not just the download manager? I
need it to fix ie6 on a computer with no modem. I also need it to add MDAC
files so I can install office xp. Apparently my copy of ie6 didn't come with
MDAC files. At least thats what I read on the net.

Oh yea. I have windows98se on my computer with no modem. I dont want to
install a modem. I dont want to install a nic. But. I do need IE6.

I just thought of something. Maybe I can find a copy on my printer cd.
Printers need IE. Why? I have no idea. Printer requirements are gettinng
crazier and crazier.

Please help.

Hi Alex :-)

You don't mention the version of Windows you are using, but, if it is XP
XP2, is is not a separate program to install.

a.. Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 SP2 is included in Service Pack 2 for
Windows XP - separate browser download is not available.

IE6 downloads for other than XP systems:

Full hard drive install versions of IE5.5 or IE6

These are full version self-extracting .exe files. Download the file and
burn it to a CD. On the target computer, copy the file into a new, empty
folder. Click on it to extract it's contents into that folder. Then find
the ie6setup.exe or ie55setup.exe file (depending on the version you
downloaded) to start the setup.

Hope this helps.
