Download hotfix for KB article - 817472 ?

Hi, I'm having problems with my primary ide adaptor showing PIO
mode even though use DMA is entered. Do not have resume set for the
hard drive, but it keeps happening anyway. If anyone knows where this
hotfix can be downloaded, I would really appreciate some help finding
it, a couple hours of searching have brought nothing. Thanks for
reading, much appreciated.

If you found a KB article about the hotfix, call Microsoft. They won't
charge you for the call if you have the symptoms mentioned in the article.

Thanks Lanwrench, had seen that option, but was just wondering if
it may be available for direct download, thanks for your help, much
appreciated.

You're welcome - and no, hotfixes must be obtained from MS directly.
