download file location--how do I change

I have windows xp with svc pak 2. when I download files off the
internet using Firefox browser, they are automatically saved to
DESKTOP location.

How can I change to a different location? For example, save in
FIREFOX folder?

Go to your firefox options and on the main tab, change the download location
to where you want it to be.
